…and we’re rolling!

Last week we started the process of tracking drums for an upcoming EP. I can’t wait, I love recording, and all that. Also getting to hear the final product when you know what it started out as is pretty cool! Tomorrow we’ll be laying down some fat guitars with some loud amps. I’m really excited, but I’m even more excited to get these new tunes out there so you can hear them! It’s gonna be awesome!

On another note, mark your calendars for May 11th @ Lee’s Liquor Lounge! 9PM, we’ll be rocking faces! Come hang out with us! Until then, may the force be with you…haha!

Guitar shopping!!!

So I never thought I’d not be able to find a guitar in ALL of the music stores in St. Paul and Minneapolis, but alas, I have not been able to. I’m going to Des Moines, Ia tomorrow to meet my dad and we’re going to find something…hopefully. I know the guitar I want, I just want to play it before buying it…come on Des Moines! Give it to me! Hopefully I’ll be uploading pictures soon! Stay safe and sexy this weekend!

WTF Is Going On With Us?

Just in case you were wondering what the hell we’ve been doing, or where we went I just wanted to make this post real quick to let you know we’re gaining momentum and we’re aiming to be back out playing shows by mid to late February with an all new line up. We’re in the process of making a new website to reflect all the new stuff going on here. New website, new Mighty Others, new tunes (which are AWESOME!), new outlook on everything. I hate saying “stay tuned” but just hang in there. We’ll be back up and running soon! Can’t wait to be back out and jamming with you! Talk to ya soon

It’s been awhile…

Hello there. I have been MIA for quite awhile. I went to Nashville and a lot of things, good and bad, happened. I have recently relocated back to Minneapolis, and will be getting The Mighty Others back up and running ASAP. I’ll try and fill you in on everything once I have some time to put some thoughts down. It’s a hit!

Hey, what’s up there?
Well I think we’ve done it! We’ve got a hit on our hands. According to the national recording institution for awesome songs, the song we just wrote is a smash hit! On a recent writing session with my good man Leigh Brandon Houison we wrote what I would consider a great song. I’m very proud of it. The cool thing is I was able to capture the whole creative process. Ever wondered what it’s like? Well take a peek.
